In this Role, you’ll get to

  • Act as the team's "middle-office", leading compliance projects that require deep collaboration with domestic product and engineering teams (e.g., data localization, cross-region generic compliance site revamp, cookie compliance, cross-border data transfer solutions, etc.)
  • Own cross-regional compliance initiatives — map out the project roadmap, coordinate resources across multiple stakeholders, and drive delivery to closure.
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate compliance requirements into executable solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Southeast Asia, Europe, and other regions to respond to legal requirements and lead cross-jurisdiction compliance projects.
  • Contribute to the overall overseas compliance framework and the continuous improvement of related processes.


What you'll Need to Succeed

  • 5+ years of experience in data privacy, data compliance, or information security.
  • Hands-on experience supporting a company's international compliance buildout.
  • Proven track record of independently leading complex compliance projects from concept to delivery.
  • Working proficiency in English. Mandarin language will be a plus due to close collaboration with with product and engineering teams in overseas markets.
  • Strong project management and cross-team collaboration skills.
