Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role based in Singapore. The Truck Driver will operate company trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations, following assigned routes and schedules. Daily responsibilities include performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, loading and unloading cargo, maintaining accurate delivery documentation, and adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. The role also involves communicating with dispatch and warehouse teams, reporting any mechanical issues or delays, and ensuring that goods are handled and delivered in line with company quality standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in Truck Driving and safe handling of a Truck in varied traffic and weather conditions.
• Valid Class 4 driving license, with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of Regulations or comparable regional transport and safety regulations, and commitment to full compliance.
• Experience with basic loading and Unloading procedures, including safe cargo securing and handling.
• Strong awareness of road safety, defensive driving practices, and vehicle inspection routines.
• Ability to read and follow delivery schedules, route plans, and basic shipping documentation.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers.
• Physical ability to sit for long periods, handle cargo as required, and work flexible hours or shifts when needed.
• Previous experience in local or regional freight transport will be an advantage.
