We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead functional and API testing efforts across web and mobile applications. This role involves establishing metrics and applying industry best practices to ensure quality goals are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

Test web/mobile com mer cial appli ca tions across mul ti ple hand sets adher ing to car ried stan dard check list

Document results of test ing and report any defects in a clear and com pre hen sive man ner

Com mu ni cate and fol low up any defects with the devel oper of the soft ware

Actively inves ti gate inter est ing new tools and techniques

To prepare test plan and test scripts, to perform internal testing, to manage User Acceptance Testing and assist in test reporting in IT system implementation projects

To conduct business analysis and requirement study, to document requirement and functional specification, and to liaise with users and developers on requirement validations in system implementation

Execute and oversee functional testing of web and mobile applications, validating requirements and ensuring critical banking workflows perform reliably.

Design and execute API test cases (REST/JSON/XML), validate integrations with payment gateways, core banking systems, and mobile wallets. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.

Prerequisites

5+ years of QA experience in functional and API testing for web and mobile applications.

Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Familiarity with Zephyr test cases or equivalent test management tools.

Hands‑on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Appium, Cypress) and API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).

Exposure to iOS/Android development lifecycle is an advantage.

Excellent communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with managers, developers, and stakeholders.

Proactive, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven problem solver with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
