Responsibilities
Manage production scheduling and optimise plating process parameters.
Troubleshoot process, material and quality issues; identify root causes and implement solutions.
Drive process improvements to increase productivity, yield and quality while reducing cycle time and costs.
Develop and maintain work instructions, process methods, drawings and BOMs.
Implement productivity initiatives, including process automation, tooling and fixture improvements.
Conduct equipment operation and maintenance training.
Drive continuous improvement to meet manufacturing and quality objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years’ relevant manufacturing experience, preferably with chemical handling.
Experience in
electroplating
; Silver Spot plating exposure is an advantage.
Knowledge of statistical methods, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to interpret AutoCAD drawings.
Systematic, self-motivated and able to work independently.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
