Role Description The Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients. Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, preparing proposals, and conducting product or service presentations. The role involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, resolving client issues, and monitoring account performance to meet sales and revenue targets. The Account Executive will track market trends, update the CRM system, and prepare regular reports and forecasts for management. This position requires consistent in-person engagement with clients and colleagues to support effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or customer success, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to build long-term client relationships, manage multiple accounts, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Comfort working with CRM and other sales tools, as well as basic proficiency in office productivity software.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the local market are an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Greater Kuala Lumpur and travel locally for client meetings as needed.
