Job Overview
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Junior Project Coordinator to support project planning, coordination, documentation, and day-to-day project activities in Singapore. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, internal teams, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to help ensure projects are delivered smoothly and on schedule.
This role is suitable for entry-level candidates and early-career professionals looking to develop practical experience in project coordination and project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with planning and coordinating project activities.
- Maintain project schedules, timelines, task lists, and progress trackers.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, project discussions, and follow-up activities.
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, action items, and project updates.
- Track project milestones, deadlines, deliverables, and outstanding tasks.
- Communicate project information and updates to relevant team members and stakeholders.
- Follow up with internal departments, suppliers, contractors, and vendors on assigned tasks.
- Maintain project documentation, reports, records, and other administrative materials.
- Assist with preparing project presentations, status reports, and management updates.
- Monitor project progress and highlight potential delays or issues to the Project Manager.
- Support project risk, issue, and change tracking.
- Assist with resource coordination and task allocation where required.
- Help ensure project activities are completed according to agreed requirements and timelines.
- Support project testing, implementation, and completion activities.
- Assist with post-project reviews and documentation.
- Perform general project administration and coordination duties as required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in project coordination, administration, operations, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working with different teams and stakeholders.
- Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Singapore.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Trello, *************, or similar platforms.
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
- Experience preparing project reports, trackers, or dashboards.
- Basic knowledge of risk and issue management.
- Familiarity with process documentation and workflow management is an advantage.
