Job Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise train operators and shunters.
• Coordinate the safe operation and movement of rail vehicles.
• Conduct pre-operation checks and confirm operational readiness.
• Ensure personnel follow approved operating and safety procedures.
• Conduct operational and safety briefings.
• Coordinate with controllers, station supervisors and site teams.
• Respond to operational incidents and support recovery activities.
• Monitor operator competency, performance and compliance.
• Assist with the training and OJT of new personnel.
• Prepare operational records and reports.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in an engineering discipline, GCE A-Level or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum five years of relevant working experience.
• Railway operations, train-driving, shunting or heavy-equipment experience is preferred.
• Able to lead a team and conduct operational briefings.
• Strong safety awareness and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and report preparation.
• Able to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends and public holidays.
• Must complete the required training, assessment and OJT.
