Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on and technically capable Tech Specialist to support the implementation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of technology and integrated systems.
The candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure systems are properly installed, configured, tested, commissioned, and handed over according to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of technology and integrated systems
• Perform system setup, configuration, programming, and basic integration works where required
• Conduct site surveys and assist in identifying technical requirements and potential site issues
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues during project implementation
• Liaise with vendors and manufacturers for technical support, product information, and issue resolution
• Coordinate with project engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and other site teams to ensure smooth implementation
• Perform system testing and prepare testing and commissioning records
• Support system integration between security, IT, IoT, and other building technology systems
• Assist in preparing technical documentation, system configurations, test reports, and as-built information
• Provide technical support during project handover and after-sales support when required
• Attend project sites and support maintenance or troubleshooting activities when required
• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant technical experience in system integration, IT infrastructure, ELV, security systems, or related fields
• Hands-on experience in system installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting
• Good understanding of networking concepts including IP addressing, switches, VLANs, and basic network troubleshooting
• Knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarm systems, IoT, or other ELV systems is an advantage
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Able to read and understand technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system documentation
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Able to work independently as well as part of a project team
• Willing to travel to project sites when required

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CCTV, access control, intercom, alarm, or other physical security systems
• Experience with platforms such as AMAG, LenelS2, Avigilon, Milestone, Genetec, Hikvision, Dahua, Hanwha, Suprema, HID, Gallagher, and Bosch
• Basic knowledge of network infrastructure and structured cabling
• Experience with system integration and third-party device interfaces
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, technical documentation, and testing/commissioning procedures
• Experience working in data centres or critical infrastructure environments is an advantage
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
