• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure the company obtains quality products and services at competitive prices.
• Manage the purchasing team and ensure all procurement activities are completed efficiently and according to company procedures.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate, and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, contracts, and other commercial terms with suppliers.
• Monitor purchasing costs and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
• Review and approve purchase orders, quotations, and purchasing requests within the approved authority.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse, operations, sales, and other departments to ensure sufficient supply.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve issues related to delays, shortages, damaged goods, or incorrect deliveries.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on price, quality, delivery, service, and reliability.
• Maintain an updated supplier database and identify alternative suppliers to reduce supply risks.
• Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, budget requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Prepare purchasing reports, cost analysis, supplier performance reports, and procurement forecasts for management.
• Monitor market prices and market trends to support effective purchasing decisions.
• Work closely with Finance to ensure proper documentation, payment terms, and invoice reconciliation.
• Continuously improve purchasing processes, controls, and supplier management to increase efficiency and reduce company costs.
• Handle any purchasing-related issues and perform other duties assigned by management.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
