Hiring Retail Sales Associates!

Location: Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur

Join the founding team of the first LiberNovo store in Southeast Asia.

LiberNovo - the world's first dynamic ergonomic chair opens its flagship store at Mid Valley Megamall. We're looking for Retail Sales Associates to be the face of the brand: welcoming customers, running guided demos, hosting livestreams, and helping build a retail experience unlike anything else in the mall.

Why this store is different

This isn't a stock-and-shelf outlet. It's an experience space, customers spend around 20 minutes in guided demos, sitting, reclining and feeling the chair move with them, and every purchase is delivered from our warehouse straight to their door. So your floor is 100% about experience and conversion, not stockkeeping. It's also an always-on content set, with regular livestreams and in-store events built into how the store runs. Full training is provided, including sessions built with the brand's international HQ team - no ergonomics background needed.

What you'll own

On the floor

• Welcome customers warmly and guide them through the demo experience zones
• Run engaging, consultative product demos - helping customers feel the difference rather than reciting specs
• Handle common questions and objections confidently, including online marketplace price comparisons
• Achieve store sales targets through proactive engagement and honest product recommendations
• Promote ongoing campaigns, bundles, opening promotions and the launch lucky draw
• Process transactions accurately on POS and arrange warehouse-to-home delivery orders for customers
• Capture customer contacts and WhatsApp opt-ins for follow-up, events and promotions

Online and content

• Host regular livestream sessions (TikTok Live, Facebook/Instagram Live) to showcase products and close sales in-stream - script and camera training provided
• Appear in short-form store content and help capture same-day customer moments and reviews
• Respond to pre-sales enquiries on e-commerce and social platforms when available

Store operations and events

• Keep demo units clean, charged, fully functional and demo-ready at all times
• Assist daily operations: opening/closing, merchandise restocking, displays, cleanliness and SOPs
• Support in-store events - grand opening activities, posture check days, workshops and product launch activations
• Assist customers with aftersales guidance through our WhatsApp service channel
• Post a daily closing summary covering sales, foot traffic and notable customer feedback
• Report stock, sales or operational issues to the Store Lead promptly

What we're looking for

Must have

• Open to SPM holders and above - fresh graduates encouraged to apply
• Friendly, proactive and confident in communicating with customers
• Comfortable being on camera and speaking live to an audience, or willing to learn
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Able to work retail shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Willing to be based at Mid Valley Megamall

Nice to have (a plus, not a dealbreaker)

• Mandarin or other dialects
• Experience in sales, customer service or livestreaming
