VS Market Place Hiring! Part Time Kitchen Crew - Modern Kopitiam in Selangor, Earn up to MYR 3,000 - Ricebowl

We are looking for kitchen crew roles required to operate a new soon to be opened (expected November 2026) modern kopitiam in Ara Damansara. Experience working in a kopitiam will be advantageous.

Please specify your work experience as a kitchen crew member in your CV when applying. Ideally we want FULL TIME employees but those who can work part time during our peak hours from 11am-3pm can also apply. Please specify the days and times you can work when you apply. Non Malaysian who are applying need to have a valid work permit for the services industry for full time roles and student visa for part time roles. Those with visas in other sectors like construction and agriculture will NOT be considered.

We hope to be open from 7am to 5pm initially but may extend out working hours to dinner as well over time. This means you may be expected to start work as early as 5am for preparation as part of the kitchen crew.

The kitchen crew roles we are looking for are:

• Wok Master
• Core Focus: Main Cooked Dishes
• Responsibilities: Prepare main hot dishes (Nasi Lemak, Curry Mee, Laksa, Char Kway Teow), curry broths, and control wok firing.
• Kitchen Assistant
• Core Focus: Food Prep & Portioning
• Responsibilities: Chop aromatics and meats, deep-fry side dishes, prep sambal paste, portion rice and noodle bowls.
• Steward
• Key Responsibilities: Clean heavy cookware/plates, run dishwashing station, handle waste disposal and grease traps

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
