Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To ensure Sushihan new business continues to grow in the right direction in terms of location, design, timeliness, and cost. Projects have to be studied, analyzed, completed successfully, and audited from time to time.
2. To analyze and study the internal business model and fine-tune it for implementation from time to time.
3. To manage Sushihan outlets and the JV and Franchisee partners by providing and fine-tuning the best internal business model and system to ensure continued development and growth.
4. To build and maintain good business rapport between Sushihan and all customers and partners.
5. To develop comprehensive advertising and promotion marketing campaigns to keep Sushihan in forth front in Japanese cuisine.
A) Project Management
1. Identify strategic locations for new outlet openings.
2. To present reports on project progress, problems, and solutions within a pre-agreed timeline.
3. To develop a project plan to monitor work progress.
4. To ensure all projects have a post-mortem study, meeting, and documentation with a proper filing system.
5. Responsible for the planning, management, and coordination of new outlet and renovation work, including:
· To conduct market surveys and feasibility studies on new and existing sites for future expansion plans.
· To obtain quotations, conduct price comparisons, and award reliable contractors to perform outlet renovation works according to pre-approved and by-law-compliant layouts.
· To work closely with the Head of Kitchen Operations, Head of Service Operations, and the Designer on the outlet layout plan.
· To monitor the project timeline.
To ensure the contractor is carrying out the construction or renovation according to the plan and within the timeline.
B) Handling Sushihan Outlets and Partners
1. To ensure that all systems, information, and practices are shared to our partners.
· Update and change the SOP, POS system, food menu, and etc.
2. To maintain a good partner relationship and ensure that the partners are doing well.
3. Regular store visits to build and maintain good relations with franchisers and partners to seek performance feedback on sales, operating standards, service, and food quality.
4. Develop a business plan and targets to take remedial actions where performance is declining.
5. Carry out frequent audits to ensure that all outlets are following the standard operating system, methods, report accuracy, and cost effectiveness.
C) Good Business Rapport with All Parties
1. To be responsible for planning and implementing effective public relations events (social events, partner appreciation, and etc.) to cultivate and sustain: -
· good employee relationships within the Company.
· good media relations.
· good landlord relations.
2. To attend events that can build a good business rapport for Sushihan.
D) Develop Comprehensive Advertising
1. To assist in developing press release concepts that are creative yet informative in copy and in a style that maximizes the brand value and image.
2. To collect the best and most accurate feedback from different channels to sustain and improve our branding: -
· Log book
· Written comments from customers via feedback form.
· Mystery Shopper
· Social media, i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, & etc.
· And other possible channels
3. To update Management on competitors’ advertising and promotion activities through consistent monitoring.
4. To work closely with all parties on new product launches and nationwide promotions.
5. To coordinate and follow up on the promotion menu and grand menu work related.
6. To develop point-of-sale menus and ensure that these menus are allocated to all outlets on schedule.
E) Others
1. To perform any task assigned from time to time as directed by the Management/Managing Director.
2. To ensure that all daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports are submitted
Qualifications and Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, and F & B Management, or a related field.
· 2–4 years’ experience in Business Development/Sales/Marketing or Retail/Merchandising/Hospitality
· Experience in a restaurant, café, or food chain is an advantage.
· Exposure to promotions, catering, or outlet performance management is preferred.
· Experience in sales data analysis, market research, and product performance evaluation.
· Ability to work with cross-functional teams and vendors.
· Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and product development
