Job Summary We are seeking an analytical, meticulous, and proactive Finance Officer to join our regional corporate finance and accounting practice. In this role, you will provide critical support for multi-market accounting processes, transaction auditing, and financial reporting tracks .Operating from our Bishan headquarters, you will bridge the gap between business division leads, operational units, and centralized treasury frameworks to ensure smooth accounts reconciliation and data compliance. The ideal candidate will combine strong systematic data processing skills with a sharp numerical aptitude to maintain data integrity and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Accounting Support: Execute day-to-day transaction records, including processing full-set logs for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) streams.
- Invoice & Transaction Auditing: Verify, match, and log multi-currency supplier invoices, corporate travel expenses, and vendor disbursements against delivery sheets.
- Month-End Closing Coordination: Support the finance management team during month-end and year-end ledger closings, compiling tracking templates and variance sheets.
- System & Database Administration: Maintain accurate master files, data sheets, and transaction logs inside the centralized enterprise accounting software (SAP).
- Compliance & Tax Adherence: Assist in preparing statutory tax documents, Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) logs, and standard survey metrics in line with IRAS and ACRA regulations.
- Audit Readiness Support: Review and organize physical and digital documentation frameworks to facilitate seamless internal corporate checks and external statutory audits.
- Process Automation Assistance: Leverage modern digital modules and data filtering frameworks to streamline repetitive file tracking routines and maximize reporting throughput.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Corporate Finance, Business Administration, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Technical Proficiency: High competency in advanced Microsoft Office Suite applications (specifically Excel for data modeling, pivot tables, and formulas). Practical experience navigating enterprise systems (such as SAP) is highly valued.
- Experience: Prior experience (1–3 years) as a finance executive, accounts officer, or bookkeeper—preferably within a multinational engineering, technology, manufacturing, or corporate services company—is preferred. Fast-learning fresh graduates with robust internship records are welcome.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; professional etiquette and a collaborative, stakeholder-focused style.
- Core Competencies: Outstanding structural logic, sharp numerical reasoning, high attention to detail under tight statutory timelines, and an ethical mindset regarding data safety.
Pay: $5,600.00 - $7,800.00 per month
