Job Description

Responsibilities

We are looking for a proactive Production Lead Engineer to lead and further develop our Final Device Assembly & Test operations in a growing advanced electronics manufacturing environment.

In this role, you will build strong shopfloor routines, develop people, improve production flow, and ensure stable output according to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost requirements. You will lead operators and technicians across final assembly, functional test, inspection, and related production steps, while working closely with Production Engineering, Quality, SCM, NPI, R&D, and other relevant functions to solve problems and support the further growth of our manufacturing organization.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and further develop the Final Device Assembly & Test team to support a growing advanced electronics manufacturing environment.

  • Build strong daily shopfloor routines to ensure stable production output, clear priorities, safe working conditions, and reliable delivery performance.

  • Create transparency on production performance by monitoring output, WIP, bottlenecks, manpower utilization, quality issues, test status, equipment readiness, and key production KPIs.

  • Supervise and improve device assembly, module integration, functional test, final inspection, and packing activities according to approved work instructions and process specifications.

  • Drive practical problem solving and rapid escalation for production risks, material shortages, equipment or tester issues, quality concerns, test failures, and process deviations.

  • Cooperate closely with Production Engineering, Quality, SCM, NPI, R&D, and other relevant functions to improve manufacturing processes, reduce defects, and support reliable production output.

  • Develop team skills, ownership, discipline, and continuous improvement mindset through daily communication, coaching, training, cross-training, and clear feedback.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in production, manufacturing, assembly, or related operations, preferably in electronics, PCBA, RF equipment, or high-technology manufacturing.

  • Experience leading, coordinating, coaching, or developing operators and technicians in a production or shopfloor environment.

  • Good understanding of device assembly, module integration, final inspection, production flow, and shopfloor management.

  • Practical experience in manpower planning, WIP control, material follow-up, equipment readiness, production documentation, and KPI monitoring.

  • Good knowledge of manufacturing quality requirements, ESD, 5S, safety standards, work instructions, process documentation, and production traceability.

  • Strong hands-on mindset with ownership, self-drive, problem-solving capability, and motivation to build, improve, and develop a growing production organization.
