Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate commercial diving operations to ensure safety, compliance with standards, and operational efficiency in subsea activities.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all commercial diving operations to ensure safe and efficient execution
Enforce compliance with IMCA and ADCI standards and relevant safety regulations during all diving activities
Conduct toolbox meetings, risk assessments, and pre-dive briefings to prepare teams and mitigate risks
Monitor diving activities continuously to maintain diver safety and respond promptly to any issues
Maintain accurate dive logs, reports, and operational records for regulatory compliance and project tracking
Liaise effectively with clients, project managers, and offshore teams to ensure clear communication and project alignment
Required competencies and certifications
Valid Commercial Diving Supervisor certification to legally and professionally oversee diving operations
Proven experience in offshore, marine, or subsea operations demonstrating capability to manage complex environments
Strong knowledge of diving safety procedures and regulations to uphold operational safety standards
Leadership and team management skills to direct and motivate diving teams effectively
Physical fitness and medical certification for diving operations to ensure capability to perform job duties safely
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Experience in subsea services, ship husbandry, or marine construction to enhance operational versatility
Familiarity with Singapore and regional offshore projects to support local regulatory and operational knowledge
