Responsibilities
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled IT security professional to plan, implement, and manage information security enhancement projects. You will work on network infrastructure security, support security assessments and testing, and help maintain updated security documentation and policies.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement new IT security initiatives, enhancement measures, and network security solutions.
Manage and support IT security activities such as:
Penetration testing
Vulnerability scanning
Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SRAA)
Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA)
Review and update IT security documentation, policies, and guidelines.
Liaise with internal teams and IT contractors for outsourced security implementation services.
Perform security patching, system/software upgrades, and routine infrastructure support.
Requirements
Higher Diploma or above in computer science or relevant studies
Qualifications / Certifications such as ISACA CISA / CRISC, ISACA CISA / CRISC is preferred
Experience in Information Security Management, Network/Application Security, IT Security Compliance, Linux System Administration, Server Virtualization / Infrastructure Management etc.
Experience in IT security exercises, including SRAA, PIA, Vulnerability scanning, Penetration testing etc.
Experience in managing IT contractors, including monitoring on-site implementation progress and validating Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance etc.
Technical Skills (advantage)
Hands-on experience in system hardening / cybersecurity solutions, including familiarity with:
Microsoft Active Directory (AD)
Next-Gen Firewalls (NGFW)
Privileged Account Management (PAM)
EDR, NDR
IAM
SIEM
Knowledge of:
DLP, XDR, and UEM is an advantage.
