About the role

As an Electrical Surveyor (Offshore Rig Inspection), you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of electrical systems on offshore rigs. You will be directly integrated into the Maintenance department.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out inspections of electrical installations and equipment in an offshore rig environment

• Verify the condition, conformity, and proper functioning of electrical systems

• Identify anomalies, defects, and potential risks related to electrical equipment

• Contribute to maintenance follow-up and support corrective actions when required

• Prepare clear inspection reports and communicate findings to the relevant teams

• Work closely with maintenance stakeholders to support safe and efficient operations

About you

• Minimum 10 years of total oilfield experience within the last 15 years

• At least 5 years specifically dedicated to independent third-party rig inspections (Jack-up & Tender Assisted Rig)

• Prior senior-level offshore electrical experience (such as Senior/Chief/Rig Electrician)

• Mandatory requirement for Jack-up rig exposure

• Valid CompEx (Ex01-Ex04) or equivalent Hazardous Area inspection certification
