National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia (NKF), established in 1969, is dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by kidney disease and kidney failure. NKF provides subsidised dialysis treatment and support for peritoneal dialysis, as well as kidney health screening, prevention, education, and awareness programmes. With centres and programmes nationwide, NKF works closely with healthcare professionals, partners, and communities to promote better kidney ************* donation campaigns, and educational and awareness initiatives to promote kidney health.

Role Description

The Public Education Executive (Operation) is a full-time, on-site position based in Petaling Jaya. The role supports the planning and implementation of public education, health screening, and awareness programmes related to kidney health and organ donation.

Key responsibilities include coordinating programmes and events, liaising with internal teams and external partners, managing logistics and budgets, preparing reports, and supporting educational activities. The role also involves engaging with the public, volunteers, healthcare professionals, and community organisations to support NKF’s outreach efforts.

Qualifications

-Diploma or degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Biomedical Science, Health Science, Public Health, or related fields.

-Good understanding of health and medical topics, with the ability to conduct health talks and educate the public.

-Good communication and interpersonal skills.

-Experience in health screening, health education, community outreach, or healthcare is an advantage.

-Good organisational and coordination skills.

-Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

-Willing to travel and work on-site for programmes and events.

-Basic Microsoft Office skills.
