About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting the company’s financial health with accurate reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing and payment processing
• Prepare monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, and management reports
• Assist with GST submissions, payroll processing, and statutory filings
• Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all financial transactions
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least 1–3 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates may be considered)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel
• Strong knowledge of local tax and compliance regulations
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
