As an E&M Engineer, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of warehouse electrical, mechanical, and automation infrastructure project implementation. You will bridge the gap between technical design and field execution, managing demand surveys, system layout planning, tendering, on-site supervision, and final project acceptance. Your focus will be to ensure all mechanical and electrical structures and warehouse automation components are seamlessly integrated and optimally executed.

 Job Description:

• Automation Solution Design & Solution Planning: Conduct detailed site surveys and user-requirement investigations. Design warehouse automation infrastructure solutions encompassing racking layouts, mechanical conveyors and integrated HVAC and electrical lighting networks.

• Technical Documentation: Draft detailed technical specifications for procurement and tendering. Author Technical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), formulate comprehensive project budgets (covering equipment, consumables, maintenance, and labour), and lead technical evaluation panels.

• On-site Project & Commissioning Management: Act as the primary technical supervisor on-site. Coordinate the installation, modification, and demolition of E&M equipment, material handling automated machinery (WCS/conveyor lines), fire sprinkler systems, and structural partitions.

• Equipment Optimization & Maintenance Management: Develop preventive maintenance plans for critical plant and warehouse assets. Design structural enhancements (e.g., customized lifting gear/fixtures) and execute automated production/assembly line transformations to boost output and safety.

• Vendor & Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with external contractors and suppliers. Liaise directly with corporate clients to resolve technical queries, align project milestones, and drive formal project sign-off and handover acceptance.

Job Requirement:

• Higher Diploma or above in Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

• Minimum 7 - 8 years of proven engineering experience in industrial automation, E&M facility installation, or smart warehousing infrastructure.

• Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary warehouse projects (e.g., automated conveyor line implementation, large-scale facility relocation, or complex racking installations).

• Strong experience in the development of warehouse automation facilities

• Solid knowledge of warehouse automation or electrical layouts

• Proficiency in mechanical and structural design concepts (such as fixtures, jigs, or custom lifting equipment).

• Familiarity with WCS (Warehouse Control Systems), logistics warehouse automation and robotics is highly preferred.

• Strong budget forecasting, control and monitoring of project efficiency capabilities (P&L mindset regarding equipment, maintenance, and site operations).

• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead on-site contractors under tight timelines.

• Strong analytical skills and competencies to conduct feasibility studies and clarify technical issues for clients, with excellent organizational skills, interpersonal and communication skills, time management, and multitasking across multiple projects

• Proficient in spoken and written English, Mandarin and Cantonese
