Role Responsibilities
- Capture natural first-person video footage of everyday activities using a smartphone with a head strap.
- Operate Insta360 X series cameras, manage video files, and use 360 Studio for reframing and exporting footage.
- Identify shooting locations within approved settings and comply with privacy, consent, and safety protocols.
- Transition to using company-provided video equipment and updated workflows in subsequent project phases.
- Coordinate and record group activities, ensuring all written consents and permissions are obtained.
- Maintain high standards of data quality and reliability to meet specified guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with project coordinators, reporting progress, challenges, or clarifications.
- Proven experience in video capture or similar data collection activities with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience using an Insta360 X-series camera and familiarity with INSV files and Insta360 Studio.
- Reliable access to a high-quality personal smartphone suitable for video recording.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on accuracy and clarity.
- Ability to follow complex instructions with meticulous attention to privacy, consent, and metadata requirements.
- Comfort navigating both home and public environments for data collection.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate or coordinate with others when group recordings are assigned.
