Job Description

• Perform KYC/AML and customer due diligence (CDD) procedures for fund investors and managed accounts, including PEP and sanctions screening.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel, compliance consultants, and auditors for statutory audits and regulatory reviews.
• Assist with ad-hoc regulatory enquiries, thematic reviews, and SFC inspections as required.
• Support monitoring and regulatory due diligence of investment projects located in Mainland China, applying knowledge of relevant PRC laws and regulations (e.g. CSRC rules, foreign investment restrictions, PRC company and securities law) to identify, flag, and track regulatory risks associated with such projects.
• Provide ad-hoc administrative and secretarial support to senior management and the investment team as required.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant compliance and/or administrative experience, preferably gained from asset management firms, hedge funds, private equity firms, or SFC-licensed corporations
• Solid understanding of SFC regulations, AML/CTF guidelines, and the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO).
• Familiarity with Mainland China laws and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge to monitor and assess the regulatory status and compliance of investment projects located in Mainland China, is a strong advantage.
• High degree of integrity, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in a boutique team environment.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $38,000.00 per month
