Supervisor - Dipping/Compound

Job Purpose

Supervises frontline production operations on the dipping and compound-preparation lines, ensuring output, quality and safety targets are met each shift.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations of the dipping line and/or compound-preparation area for the assigned shift.

Allocate manpower, monitor line performance and address production bottlenecks in real time.

Ensure operators follow SOPs, quality checkpoints and safety procedures throughout the shift.

Monitor compound formulation/mixing parameters and dipping-process settings against specification.

Escalate equipment breakdowns or quality deviations promptly to Engineering/QA and follow through to resolution.

Complete shift production reports, output records and handover notes accurately.

Coach, discipline and develop production operators, supporting a safe and productive shift-floor culture.

Enforce 5S, housekeeping and PPE compliance on the production floor.

Requirements & Qualifications

Diploma/Certificate in a technical field, or SPM with relevant manufacturing supervisory experience.

0–2 years of production/manufacturing experience with demonstrated leadership potential; prior line-leader experience an advantage.

Basic understanding of glove-dipping or compound-mixing processes preferred.

Good communication and people-handling skills for supervising shift-floor teams.

Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
