Role Description The Account Executive is a full-time, on-site role based at Petron R&R Rawang Northbound in Rawang.
- Handle full set of accounts (AP, AR, GL) up to trial balance & perform bank reconciliation
- Process daily sales collections, cash/credit card reconciliation
- Manage supplier invoices, payments, and vendor reconciliations (fuel suppliers, lubricant/convenience store suppliers, etc.) and staff claim processing
- Prepare monthly closing entries, journal vouchers, and supporting schedules
- Assist in preparation of monthly management reports, P&L, and balance sheet
- Ensure timely and accurate SST (Sales and Service Tax) reporting and submission
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and company secretary for audit, tax filing, and statutory compliance
- Maintain proper filing of accounting documents (invoices, receipts, delivery orders) in compliance with LHDN and company record-keeping requirements
- Support inventory reconciliation for convenience store/mart items
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and internal control procedures
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (LCCI/ACCA part-qualified also considered)
- Minimum 1-3 years' relevant working experience in accounts/bookkeeping; experience in petrol station, retail, or F&B industry is an added advantage
- Familiar with Malaysian accounting standards, SST, and LHDN requirements
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., AutoCount) is added advantage
- Meticulous, organized, and able to work independently with tight deadlines
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Malaysian citizen or valid work permit holder eligible to work in Malaysia
- Willing to work at station/outlet location; some flexibility for month-end closing may be required
