STUDIO EXPERIENCE, SALES & MARKETING EXECUTIVE

Sugar Boxing is looking for an energetic, organised and creative Studio Experience, Sales & Marketing Executive to join our Orchard team.

This isn't a traditional reception role.

You'll be one of the key people responsible for the day-to-day life of Sugar Boxing — looking after our customers, driving sales, keeping the studio running smoothly and helping tell the Sugar story through social media.

We're looking for someone who enjoys fitness, people, social media and creating content, and wants an opportunity to build a career within a growing fitness brand.

WHAT YOU'LL DOCUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

You'll be one of the first people our customers meet and one of the people they get to know best.

You'll:

• Welcome and check in customers
• Look after first-time visitors and trial customers
• Help customers with bookings and package enquiries
• Build relationships with regular members
• Follow up with customers after their first class
• Keep track of customers who haven't visited recently
• Help members get the most out of their Sugar experience
• Handle customer questions and resolve issues professionally

We want customers to feel recognised, welcomed and looked after every time they visit Sugar.

SALES

Sales is an important part of this position.

You'll be trained to understand our packages, speak confidently with customers and recommend the right option for them.

You'll:

• Respond to new enquiries
• Contact new leads
• Book customers into trial classes
• Follow up after trials
• Convert trial customers into paid packages
• Follow up with customers whose packages are ending
• Manage renewals
• Re-engage previous and inactive customers
• Support studio promotions and campaigns
• Maintain an organised sales pipeline
• Work towards individual and studio sales targets

This isn't about high-pressure selling.

It's about understanding what someone wants, helping them choose the right option and making sure no genuine opportunity gets forgotten.

SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING

You'll also help bring Sugar Boxing to life online.

You'll work with the wider team to create regular, authentic content from inside the studio.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating and posting Instagram Stories
• Filming short-form content during classes and around the studio
• Creating simple Reels and social media posts
• Capturing coaches, members, classes and the atmosphere at Sugar
• Helping plan the studio's weekly social media content
• Promoting upcoming classes, events, challenges and offers
• Collecting member testimonials and transformation stories
• Helping create behind-the-scenes content
• Responding to basic social media enquiries and DMs
• Supporting marketing campaigns and promotional launches
• Keeping the studio's social channels active and current
• Identifying interesting moments, members and stories worth sharing
• Working with coaches to create engaging fitness content

You don't need to be a professional videographer or graphic designer.

You should, however, be comfortable using Instagram and TikTok, filming on a phone and understanding what makes good social content.

We want someone who naturally thinks:

“This would make a great Story.”

or

“We should film this class tonight.”

rather than waiting to be told what to post.

STUDIO OPERATIONS

You'll help keep the studio running smoothly every day.

This includes:

• Opening and closing the studio
• Managing bookings, cancellations and waitlists
• Supporting the daily class schedule
• Coordinating with coaches
• Maintaining front-of-house and studio presentation
• Monitoring equipment and reporting maintenance issues
• Handling basic studio administration
• Supporting events and member challenges
• Maintaining promotional materials around the studio
• Helping maintain the energy and atmosphere that makes Sugar different

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

You'll have clear numbers and responsibilities to work towards, including:

• Leads contacted
• Trials booked
• Trial attendance
• Trial-to-package conversion
• New sales
• Renewals
• Customer reactivations
• Studio attendance
• Consistent weekly social media output
• Content captured from the studio
• Execution of marketing campaigns and promotions

We want someone who takes ownership rather than simply completing a list of tasks.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Can handle a busy, fast-moving environment
• Have strong attention to detail
• Enjoy fitness, wellness or an active lifestyle
• Want to develop and grow within the fitness industry

Previous experience in fitness, hospitality, retail, customer service, sales, marketing or social media would be useful, but isn't essential.

For us, personality, creativity, attitude and willingness to learn matter just as much as experience.

COMPENSATION $2,400 Basic Salary

Plus up to $900/month in performance incentives.

Potential Earnings: Up to $3,500/month

Performance incentives will be based on:

Sales Performance — Up to $500/month

Rewarding new package sales and customer reactivations that you personally help convert.

Trial Conversion — Up to $300/month

Rewarding your ability to turn completed trials into paying Sugar customers.

Studio Performance — Up to $300/month

Rewarding growth in overall studio attendance and performance.
