In addition, the company undertakes structural and general steel fabrication and installation, offering end-to-end mechanical solutions to its clients.
Role Description The QA/QC Inspector is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. The role involves performing inspections on piping, structural steel, and related mechanical works to verify compliance with project specifications, drawings, and relevant codes. The QA/QC Inspector will review and document quality records, prepare inspection reports, and support non-conformance investigations and corrective actions. Daily tasks include coordinating with project teams and subcontractors, monitoring welding and fabrication activities, and ensuring that quality procedures, standards, and safety requirements are consistently followed. The role also requires participation in audits, support for client and third-party inspections, and continuous improvement of quality processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance for mechanical, piping, and structural works.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Management, including implementation of procedures, documentation, and compliance with relevant standards.
- Candidates should possess practical Inspection skills for fabrication, installation, and plant maintenance activities.
- Candidates should possess Welding Inspection skills, including familiarity with welding procedures, visual inspection, and acceptance criteria.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience in industrial, process plant, or construction environments, especially in piping and structural steel projects, is beneficial.
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, AWS, API or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to read engineering drawings, and good communication and reporting skills are required.
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, and uphold safety and quality culture.
