Grand Cru Wine Concierge is looking for a Retail Executive to join our team and deliver a premium retail and dining experience to our customers. The role combines wine retail sales, customer service, and food and beverage service, with responsibilities covering product recommendations, sales, customer engagement, retail operations, inventory management, and the day-to-day operations of our wine bar.
Sales & Customer Service
- Welcome and assist customers in selecting wines, and related products.
- Provide personalised product recommendations based on customers' preferences, occasions, and requirements.
- Promote retail products and special offers.
- Achieve team sales targets.
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Handle customer enquiries, reservations, and feedback professionally.
- Deliver a warm, attentive, and professional customer experience at all times.
Food & Beverage Service
- Provide attentive and professional food and beverage service to ensure a premium dining experience.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and serve them promptly.
- Explain menu items and assist customers with food and beverage selections when required.
- Attend to customers' requests and ensure their needs are met throughout their visit.
- Assist with table setup, clearing, and maintaining cleanliness of dining and service areas.
- Work closely with the team to ensure smooth and efficient service during operating hours.
Product Knowledge
- Develop and maintain strong knowledge of wines and related products.
- Stay updated on new products, vintages, promotions, and relevant industry trends.
- Provide product recommendations and basic wine education to customers when required.
- Assist with wine-related events or tastings when required.
Retail Operations
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Ensure the retail and dining areas are clean, organised, and well-presented at all times.
- Support the smooth day-to-day operations of the wine bar and retail section.
Inventory & Merchandising
- Monitor stock levels and report replenishment requirements.
- Assist with stock receiving, inventory counts, and stock transfers.
- Ensure products are properly displayed, labelled, and priced.
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure compliance with company policies, licensing requirements, and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory movements, and customer orders.
- Handle cash and payment transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Support administrative duties, reporting, and other operational tasks as assigned.
- Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Job Locations: City Hall
Pay: $2,700.00 - $4,000.00 per month
