Job Description

Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Python, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL and automation, preferably with experience in Telecom Billing and CRM systems.

The candidate will be responsible for application development, automation, system integration, troubleshooting and supporting complex billing/CRM platforms and cloud migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain applications, utilities and automation scripts using Python, PL/SQL and SQL.

  • Build and maintain automated testing frameworks using Playwright and Pytest.

  • Develop and support batch jobs, data processing utilities and database procedures.

  • Integrate applications using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.

  • Troubleshoot complex issues across application, database and integration layers.

  • Support CI/CD pipelines, application releases and deployments across Dev, SIT, UAT and Production.

  • Work with containerised/cloud environments including Kubernetes, OpenShift and AWS.

  • Support billing and CRM transformation, upgrade and migration projects.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of software development experience.

  • Strong hands-on Python development.

  • Strong Oracle PL/SQL and SQL, including procedures, packages, functions and complex queries.

  • Experience with Playwright/Pytest automation frameworks.

  • Strong Unix/Linux and Shell Scripting experience.

  • Experience with REST, SOAP/WSDL and system integrations.

  • Experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes and OpenShift (OCP).

  • Exposure to AWS EC2, RDS and Linux environments.

  • Strong debugging and production issue-resolution capabilities.

Preferred Domain Experience

  • Telecom Billing/BSS and CRM systems.

  • Knowledge of billing, payments, rating/charging, invoicing, order management and provisioning.

  • Experience with platforms such as Ericsson BSCS, ZSmart, Siebel CRM or Salesforce would be advantageous.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
