Responsibilities
Institution: Tan Tock Seng Hospital
Family Group: Ancillary
As a Sr/Technician, you will be responsible for the engineering and maintenance of all building facilities services of the Hospital. This includes but not limited to: -
- Basic knowledge on Electrical, ACMV, Plumbing, Fire Alarm System, Mechanical and Building Services system
- Familiar with LV switchboards, DB'c MCB/RCCB/RCD/UPS, generators and power outages
- Able to respond to water leakages, flooding, pumps and water supply issues
- Able to assess MEP breakdown symptoms and identify the cause and escalate to the appropriate Trade IC
- Update the maintenance and breakdown records into the computerised system
- Maintain the workshop facilities, tools and test equipment
- Operate the Facilities Control Centre helpdesk and Store, when needed
- Identify and initiate spare parts procurement
- Inspect, test, service, troubleshoot all facilities and equipment to maximise their availability
- Upkeep the building’s facilities and equipment
Requirements:
- Preferably Diploma/Higher Nitec/Nitec in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 4 years of engineering experience preferable in building Engineering services
- Able to multitask and work independently, with a hands-on approach, to meet tight timelines
- Good oral and written communication skills in the English language for report writing
- Committed to work on 24/7 rotating shift schedule (including night shift) and support cover duties
- Good oral and written communication skills in the English language for report writing
- Comfortable in using Microsoft Office CMMS
- Preferably CERT certified
