We are seeking a Quality Engineer who will represent Quality as the owner and driver of key quality initiatives across Customer Quality, New Product Introduction (NPI), Manufacturing, Contract Manufacturing (CM), High-Level Assembly (HLA), and Continuous Improvement.

This role is expected to partner closely with R&D, NPI, Product Support, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer Support, and other functional counterparts to ensure quality risks are identified early, top quality issues are deeply understood, and sustainable actions are driven to improve product quality, customer recovery, and long-term customer satisfaction.

Customer Quality

• Own and drive customer quality issue management from feedback intake through containment, root cause analysis, corrective action, customer recovery, and verified closure.
• Lead deep-dive investigations into top customer quality issues, ensuring the right technical owners are engaged and the true root cause is identified with sufficient evidence.
• Drive customer quality metric reviews, identify recurring trends, and convert insights into proactive improvement actions that enhance the customer experience.
• Partner with R&D, Product Support, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customer Support to ensure effective customer communication, recovery planning, and long-term issue prevention.

Manufacturing Quality

• Own manufacturing quality performance improvement by identifying top defects, process risks, and systemic gaps that impact product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Drive proactive risk detection through quality performance reviews, trend analysis, defect pareto deep dives, and early escalation of emerging issues.
• Lead corrective and preventive action execution with clear ownership, disciplined follow-through, effectiveness validation, and sustained process control.
• Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to strengthen process capability, reduce repeat defects, and prevent quality escapes.

NPI Quality

• Own NPI quality readiness by driving early risk identification, qualification discipline, and quality gate execution before product release.
• Drive quality ownership in PFMEA, Control Plan, validation, qualification, and risk mitigation activities to ensure product and process requirements are robustly addressed.
• Partner with R&D, NPI, Product Support, and Engineering to ensure lessons learned, customer feedback, and known quality risks are incorporated into new product and process designs.

CM / HLA Quality Management

• Own CM and HLA quality performance by driving partner accountability, containment discipline, issue resolution, and systemic improvement.
• Deep dive CM/HLA quality trends and field-impacting issues, ensuring effective partner engagement and timely closure of corrective actions.
• Lead manufacturing partner quality reviews with fact-based performance insights, risk prioritization, and clear improvement commitments.
• Drive preventive quality roadmaps with CM/HLA partners to reduce repeat issues, improve product robustness, and protect customer experience.

Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

• Own and drive continuous improvement initiatives that address top quality issues, reduce customer impact, and strengthen product and process quality.
• Use quality analytics, pareto analysis, and technical deep dives to identify the most critical improvement opportunities.
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects with measurable outcomes, robust action plans, and timely execution.
• Promote a quality ownership mindset that emphasizes proactive risk management, defect prevention, and continuous product quality enhancement.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner closely with R&D, NPI, Product Support, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer Support, Corporate Quality, and external manufacturing partners to drive aligned quality outcomes.
• Drive clear communication of quality risks, top issue status, recovery plans, and improvement progress to stakeholders and management.
• Influence cross-functional decisions through fact-based analysis, customer impact assessment, risk insights, and recommended quality actions.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related functions.
• Knowledge of quality methodologies and problem-solving tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience using quality metrics and data analysis tools.
