Core Responsibilities:
Design, configure and maintain AWS CloudWatch Synthetics Canaries and application monitoring/observability capabilities.
Develop and refine canary test scripts to validate application functionality and availability across UAT and Production environments.
Implement health checks, performance monitoring, dashboards, metrics, logs and alerts.
Troubleshoot canary failures, false positives, and application performance/availability issues.
Plan and execute migration of existing CI/CD runners to GovTech-managed runners.
Assess and configure build/deployment dependencies, environment variables, credentials and integrations.
Support backend integration work, including setup and maintenance of MCP Servers and APIs for AI-enabled applications.
Develop system integrations with appropriate authentication, authorisation, API management, logging and error handling.
Manage SHIP-HATS CI/CD deployment pipelines for new and existing applications.
Support migration of applications and manually configured infrastructure to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
Develop and maintain IaC templates/scripts for consistent deployment across environments.
Troubleshoot CI/CD, deployment, infrastructure and environment issues.
Promote automation, reusable deployment patterns and operational improvements.
/ REQUIREMENTS
5+ years in DevOps, Cloud, Platform Engineering, Application Infrastructure or Application Operations.
Hands-on experience with AWS/GCC, CI/CD and deployment automation.
Experience with CloudWatch / application observability / APM.
Knowledge of SHIP-HATS and/or StackOps is advantageous.
Experience with IaC, Docker/Kubernetes and REST APIs.
Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash or PowerShell.
Understanding of networking, security, IAM, SSL/TLS and cloud infrastructure.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
Singapore Government ICT/GCC experience is advantageous.
