Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Business Development Officer role based in Petaling Jaya, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with financial institutions, corporates, SMEs, and other target clients, and promoting CTOS products and data-driven solutions. The Business Development Officer will conduct market and competitor analysis, prepare proposals and presentations, and support contract negotiations to drive revenue growth. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams on solution design, ensuring a smooth customer onboarding experience, and providing ongoing client support in collaboration with customer service. The role also requires monitoring performance metrics, preparing regular sales reports, and contributing to strategic initiatives that enhance CTOS’s market presence.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong New Business Development skills, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, and sales pipeline management.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and understanding of Finance to interpret data, assess risk, and support data-driven recommendations.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for presentations, negotiations, and stakeholder engagement.
• Candidates should possess a customer-focused mindset and Customer Service skills to build trust, address client needs, and maintain long-term relationships.
• Relevant experience in financial services, credit reporting, fintech, or B2B data/analytics solutions is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), and basic data analysis will be an advantage.
