About the Role

We are seeking an Assistant Engineer to support the installation, maintenance and servicing of Security, SCADA, PLC and Controls & Instrumentation systems. This role covers a wide range of technical work — from system integration and equipment installation to maintenance, troubleshooting and fault rectification across our project sites.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance on installed Security, ELV, CCTV, SCADA, PLC and Controls & Instrumentation systems and related peripheral devices

• Assist in attending urgent fault calls, troubleshooting, following up and resolving technical issues

• Assist in Addition & Alteration (A&A), enhancement and upgrading works on existing deployed systems

• Assist in equipment installation, testing, commissioning and system handover activities for system integration projects

• Assist in system configuration, equipment setup and functional testing across electrical, mechanical and automation systems

• Assist in preparing engineering documentation, reports, drawings and as-built documentation

• Attend site surveys and project meetings, and coordinate with customers, contractors and suppliers

• Ensure work is carried out safely and in accordance with project requirements

• Perform other engineering duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, System Integration or a related discipline

• Candidates without experience are welcome to apply - Training will be provided

• Candidates with experience or interest in any of the following are encouraged to apply: PLC/SCADA programming, ELV/CCTV/security systems, system integration, electrical & instrumentation, or mechanical/mechatronics engineering

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or electrical drawings will be an advantage

• Willing to travel to project sites across Singapore when required
