We're Hiring: Assistant Manager, Warehouse & Logistics

MyNEWS is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to lead warehouse and distribution operations at our Rawang DC. You'll drive service excellence with our brands and build a high-performing team, all while keeping our supply chain running on time, in full.

•     Manage daily warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring meets agreed standards and lead times.

•     Plan and oversee the full logistics cycle: warehousing, and customer service, liaising with suppliers, manufacturers, and stores.

•     Oversee system data accuracy (e.g. WMS inventory), ensuring reconciliations are completed on time to support daily business needs.

•     Drive continuous improvement by reviewing workflows, work instructions, and policies to lift service quality and results.

•     Identify cost-saving opportunities in overall operations areas.

•     Lead, coach and improve the standard of the Warehouse and all area KPI's

•     Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Transportation, or a related field.

•     At least 5 years of relevant working experience.

•     Strong data entry and computer skills.

•     Willing to work 5.5 (alternate Saturdays) days a week, including public holidays.

•     Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative, team-first attitude.

•     A good listener who can understand different viewpoints and present confidently to teams and management.

•     Independent, self-driven, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.

•     Good to have understanding of inventory management, WMS systems, and warehouse management.
