Technical Project Manager – Singapore

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a strategic technology project for a leading financial technology environment in Singapore. The ideal candidate will combine strong project/program management expertise with a solid technical background in Java and/or .NET application development.

The candidate will be responsible for establishing project governance, developing and executing delivery plans, coordinating multiple workstreams, managing stakeholders, mitigating risks, and ensuring successful delivery of high-quality outcomes within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective project/program governance, including processes, reporting structures, and decision-making forums.
• Develop detailed project plans, delivery roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and resource plans.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise application development and digital transformation initiatives.
• Manage multiple workstreams and coordinate cross-functional, technical, and business teams.
• Track project progress, milestones, deliverables, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Identify delivery risks proactively and drive mitigation and resolution plans.
• Manage client relationships and provide regular project status updates to senior leadership.
• Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committee meetings, sprint ceremonies, and stakeholder reviews.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives, technical solutions, project scope, and delivery outcomes.
• Work closely with engineering, architecture, QA, product, business, and infrastructure teams.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, delivery processes, and agreed project timelines.
• Drive effective communication and collaboration across global and geographically distributed teams.
• Support change management, scope management, and prioritization throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 5+ years of experience in Project/Program Management.
• Strong technical background in Java and/or .NET application development.
• Proven experience managing enterprise application development and digital transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, application architecture, and technology delivery.
• Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong expertise in project planning, execution, delivery management, and governance.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management, risk management, issue resolution, and dependency management.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Strong client-facing and executive communication skills.
• Experience working with global teams and senior leadership stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
