Responsibilities:
- Job Overview - Reporting to the Business Manager, the Product & Business Development Executive will play a vital role in sales to support the overall company growth by improving account relationship and service penetration, with the collaboration of a specific category / brand, working hand in hand with Principle.
- Job Description - The ideal candidate will be required to provide existing and new accounts with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices, which may include but is not limited to the following;
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts while developing new business opportunities.
- Oversee assigned accounts, including negotiating deals, operational improvement and active sales participation to maximize growth.
- Conduct research & development, product testing and tasting sessions
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, customer needs and new opportunities.
- Identifying market gaps and managing pricing strategy, products, and the stock availability
- Working closely with internal teams (eg: Sales, Finance, Operations) and drive always deliver on KPIs
- Other ad-hoc projects/tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in FMCG sales, business development or product management.
- Proven experience in market research, product sourcing or category management is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of FMCG market trends and consumer behaviour.
- Passion for delivering exceptional experiences and maintaining high quality standards.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
