Reporting To: Head of Sales (IT), APAC

1. Position Summary

The Account Manager is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth and strengthening Datwyler's market position through the effective management and development of assigned customer accounts.

The role focuses on building strategic customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, increasing wallet share, and positioning Datwyler as the preferred IT infrastructure partner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle from account planning and opportunity identification through proposal development, negotiation, project execution support, and customer retention.

This role requires a strong blend of relationship management, business development, commercial acumen, solution selling capability, and sales execution excellence.

2. Key Responsibilities

·      Develop and grow assigned customer accounts.

·       Identify and pursue new business opportunities and projects.

·       Build strong relationships with end-users, consultants, contractors, and system integrators.

·       Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to project closure.

·       Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and drive profitable growth.

·       Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management in SAP Sales Cloud.

·       Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.

·      Monitor market trends and competitor activities.

3. Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Business Administration or related Technical Disciplines
• Minimum 5–8 years of successful B2B sales experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years in Account Management.
• Experience in IT Infrastructure, Structured Cabling, Data Centres, Networking, or Connectivity Solutions.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-driven, results-oriented, and customer-focused.
