• Build new client base through networking, referrals, tenders, online research, social media and industry partnerships.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across corporate accounts, government agencies, institutions, venues and event partners.
• Identify, plan and participate in relevant F&B tradeshows, exhibitions and networking events to generate leads, build partnershipsand secure additional revenue streams.
• Research market trends, competitors and customer needs todevelop new catering packages, sales channels and business opportunities.
• Develop business development plans and provide regular salesupdates, pipeline reports and revenue forecasts to management.
• Achieve assigned sales, revenue, account-growth and businessdevelopment targets.
• Build strategic partnerships with event planners, venues,suppliers and industry contacts to generate referrals and recurring business.
• Meet clients at site visits, tender briefings, and pre-eventmeetings to understand their event requirements, budgets, guest profiles andservice expectations.
• Prepare clear and accurate quotations, proposals and tendersubmissions, and follow up actively to close sales and confirm bookings.
• Maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeatbusiness, referrals and account growth.
• Serve as the main contact for clients before, during and aftereach event, including collecting feedback and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Handle client requests, changes and complaints calmly,promptly and professionally.
• Attend and execute major or high-profile events to ensureoperations run smoothly.
• Assist in training and guiding service and operations staffwhen required.
• Carry out any other duties related to catering sales, business development and event operations.

Job Requirements

• Experience in a similar F&B environment (catering or food production) is an advantage.
• Quick-thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and adaptsquickly to changes.
• Hardworking, team-oriented, yet capable of workingindependently.
• Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays whererequired
Possess Class 3 driving license is an advantage
