Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly driven, analytical, and safety-conscious Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing plant operations, assembly schedules, and output efficiencies. In this role, you will be responsible for driving daily production targets, optimizing resource utilization, and maintaining strict product quality control. Partnering closely with Procurement, engineering maintenance, logistics, and quality assurance teams, you will turn raw materials and supply chains into high-quality, scalable outputs delivered on schedule.Key Responsibilities
- Plant Operations Governance: Direct, coordinate, and monitor daily assembly line activities and production schedules to maximize manufacturing efficiency and machinery throughput.
- Resource Optimization: Plan labor allocations, manage material staging protocols, and analyze equipment utilization parameters to eliminate system waste and reduce operational downtime.
- Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act, National Environment Agency (NEA) guidelines, and localized factory safety codes.
- Quality Control Management: Collaborate with the QA unit to track batch variances, perform root-cause failure analysis, and implement rigorous corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Engineering Maintenance Liaison: Partner with the facilities engineering team to schedule preventive machinery maintenance blocks and optimize plant automation setups.
- Data-Driven Process Improvement: Review operational production metrics (such as OEE, scrap rates, and unit cycle times) to implement sustainable Lean or Kaizen process improvements.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Demonstrated professional track record in manufacturing production supervision, assembly line management, or plant operations engineering.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep operational fluency with manufacturing workflows, inventory control parameters, and standard industrial safety tracking tools.
- Competencies: Strong systematic troubleshooting capabilities, exceptional team leadership, and an objective problem-solving approach under tight production deadlines.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written English communication skills to effectively align shop-floor crews, material vendors, and corporate management.
Pay: $6,000.00 - $9,500.00 per month
