Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Design, review, and implement mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, lifting equipment, etc.) for construction projects.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and compliance documents in line with Singapore Building and Construction Authority (BCA) standards.
Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimation, and risk assessments for mechanical works.
Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems on-site.
Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and environmental sustainability standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during project execution.
Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and support tender submissions.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (accredited by recognized institutions).
Professional Engineer (PE) certification in Singapore is an advantage.
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction or building services projects.
Proven track record in mechanical system design, installation, and project management.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or other mechanical design software.
Strong knowledge of Singapore Codes of Practice (SS CP), BCA, and WSH regulations.
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
