Job Overview
We are seeking a Marine Surveyor to support marine and cargo inspection activities in Singapore. The role will be involved in vessel attendance, cargo measurement, bunker quantity and quality checks, documentation, and preparation of survey reports. The successful candidate will work with vessel crews, terminals, cargo interests, and other relevant parties to ensure inspection activities are carried out accurately and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend vessels, terminals, and other locations to conduct marine and cargo surveys.
- Carry out bunker quantity measurements and related inspection activities.
- Assist with quality and condition checks for fuel oil and liquid cargoes.
- Conduct measurements, sampling, and verification in accordance with applicable procedures.
- Record survey findings, measurements, observations, and supporting information accurately.
- Prepare clear and timely survey reports, certificates, and supporting documentation.
- Communicate with vessel representatives, terminals, clients, and other parties during survey assignments.
- Assist in investigating quantity or quality discrepancies and preparing relevant findings.
- Support technical reviews and documentation relating to cargo or bunker disputes.
- Follow established safety procedures and relevant industry standards during site attendance.
- Maintain accurate records of survey activities and supporting documents.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Maritime Studies, Nautical Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in marine surveying, cargo inspection, bunker surveying, or a related maritime role is preferred.
- Familiarity with vessel operations, cargo measurement, sampling, and inspection procedures.
- Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Able to prepare clear technical reports and documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Comfortable working at ports, terminals, and onboard vessels when required.
- Able to work independently and manage assignments according to scheduled requirements.
- Candidates with relevant maritime or inspection experience are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $4,000.00 - $6,500.00 per month
