Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Resource Management:
Support the procurement, organisation, systematic inventory stock-taking, and overall administrative upkeep of all Science Room teaching materials and apparatus [index: 0.1.34].
Lesson Preparation:
Prepare necessary materials, specialized apparatus, and educational equipment for Science lessons, practical activities, and experiments.
Maintenance & Repair:
Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the Science Rooms and perform basic troubleshooting or minor repairs on damaged lab apparatus.
Specialised System Care:
Actively monitor, care for, and maintain the school's hydroponics systems and associated gardening equipment.
Event & Program Support:
Assist school teachers in the logistical preparation and smooth execution of Science-related events, school programmes, and activities at the Science Enrich Corner.
Working Hours & Schedule
Days:
Mondays to Fridays
Hours:
7:30 AM – 2:00 PM (includes a 30-minute lunch break)
Rest Days:
Services are strictly not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and all gazetted public holidays
Job Requirements
Experience:
Minimum of
2 years of relevant working experience
in a school Science Room, laboratory, or similar educational setting
Preferred Experience:
At least
1 year of experience in gardening

Education:
A
Diploma or equivalent qualification
is preferred
Technical Skills:
Basic computer literacy with proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Soft Skills:
Good time management, high organizational capability, positive interpersonal skills, and effective communication in written and spoken English
