SGS Hiring! Full Time Key Account Manager in Selangor - Ricebowl

The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing strategic customers involved in Critical Infrastructure, Data Centre and/or Manufacturing/Semiconductor. The role ensures efficient service delivery across inspection, testing, and certification activities.

Scope of Responsibilities

A. Key Account Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all Critical Infrastructure, Data Centre and/or Manufacturing/Semiconductor major clients.
• Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, and service agreements.
• Coordinate with operations teams on the execution of the secured sales and ensure smooth execution, deliverables, and billing.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and proactive issue resolution.

B. Business Development & Commercial Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans to grow Critical Infrastructure, Data Centre and/or Manufacturing/Semiconductur market share.
• Identify new business opportunities and maintain active sales pipeline.
• Achieve revenue and profitability targets.

C. Quality, Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure adherence to SGS Quality Management System.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Mitigate operational risks.

D. Reporting & Administration

• Prepare monthly reports, forecasts, and pipeline status.
• Monitor job costing and ensure timely invoicing.
• Maintain accurate customer records.

E. Team Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with Operations, Laboratory, Finance, and HSE.
• Participate in management and operational meetings.

F. Adherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) & QMS Policy

• To comply with all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) local regulation (Occupational Safety and Health Act 1996, Factory and Machinery Act 1967, Environmental Quality Act 1974).
• To report any hazard/risk, near-miss and incident in Crystal system. 
• Ensure that all Operational Integrity Management System (OIMS) requirements are met.
• Adherence to applicable Quality Management System by exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities in executing, fulfilling and ensuring at all times the compliance of the QMS and is fully implemented in accordance to ISO 17020 & MIBAS policy, 17065 & ACB policy and ISO17025 & SAMM policy"(where applicable/required).
• Adherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by uphold a good safety behavior and exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities at all times to ensure compliance to the HSE requirements.

Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemistry, Business, or related fields.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in Critical Infrastructure, Data Centre and/or Manufacturing/Semiconductur inspection/testing/certification.
• Fluent in English/local language, high level of written and verbal English.
• Presentable appearance.
• Knowledgeable about the related industry.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Adventurous and willing to take new challenges.
• Able to work professionally with minimal supervision.
