INTERLUNAR Hiring! Full Time Art Workshop Facilitator in - Ricebowl

What you'll be doing 

You'll lead 2.5-hour thematic art jamming workshops for kids aged 7 to 12. But this isn't just "here's your canvas, have fun" — you'll be guiding participants through their art-making while gently weaving in stress and emotional coping skills. Think prompts like: "Your painting doesn't have to look exactly like what you imagined — and that's okay! We're learning that it's fine when things turn out a little different than we planned."

You'll set the tone for the room: warm, encouraging, and unafraid of "mistakes."

What we're looking for

• An art degree and/or hands-on experience running art workshops (preferred, not always mandatory — talk to us if you're passionate but newer to teaching)
• Must be able to competently teach and demonstrate poster colour painting techniques
• Comfort working with children aged 7–12
• Bonus points if you're familiar with concepts like Beautiful Oops! or therapeutic/expressive art framing — we love facilitators who already think this way
• Confidence leading a room solo: giving instructions, managing time, and keeping energy up

Compensation: $65–$85/hour, based on experience and demonstrated ability to lead a workshop independently.

Workshop duration: 2.5 hours per session.

Location: Upcoming workshop at Tampines West. We also run workshops at Dhoby Ghaut and Chinatown — happy to match you to a location that works for you.
