Job Description

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our livehouse and ensure the venue operates smoothly, safely and efficiently.

The Operations Manager will coordinate front-of-house operations, service teams, performers, security, housekeeping and other operational functions. The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced entertainment and hospitality environment and capable of resolving operational issues independently.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily venue operations and ensure smooth coordination between departments

Manage opening, operating and closing procedures

Coordinate front-of-house, reception, service, security, housekeeping and other operational teams

Ensure adequate manpower deployment and operational readiness for each shift

Monitor customer service standards and overall guest experience

Handle operational issues, customer escalations and incidents professionally

Coordinate with F&B, kitchen, entertainment, stage and technical teams

Ensure venue cleanliness, safety and operational standards are maintained

Assist with staff scheduling, attendance and manpower planning

Monitor compliance with internal procedures, safety requirements and applicable regulations

Coordinate maintenance, contractors and operational suppliers where necessary

Support events, private functions and special programmes

Prepare operational reports and recommend improvements to management

Perform other operational duties as required by management

Requirements

Relevant experience in hospitality, F&B, entertainment, nightlife, events or venue operations

Prior supervisory or management experience preferred

Strong leadership, organisation and problem-solving skills

Able to manage multiple departments and priorities simultaneously

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Customer-service oriented with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally

Comfortable working evenings, weekends and public holidays according to the venue's operating schedule

Able to work independently and make sound operational decisions

Knowledge of workplace safety and venue operations will be an advantage
