Job Summary
Lead and manage technical personnel and vendors to deliver integrated facilities management services, ensuring preventive maintenance, compliance, and operational excellence across M&E and soft services within contractual scopes.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate technical personnel, specialists, and vendors across disciplines to deliver contractual work scopes effectively and on schedule
Plan and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure operational reliability and compliance with contract requirements
Oversee maintenance of mechanical and electrical (M&E) services and coordinate soft services facilities management with Assistant Facility Manager/Facility Manager
Respond promptly to operational issues and emergencies to minimize disruption and maintain service continuity
Conduct inspections to identify service rectifications and monitor team performance against contractual timelines
Track and report progress of all project works to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and enforce compliance with performance frameworks to achieve service standards
Facilitate effective communication within teams and with internal and external stakeholders to meet assigned KPIs and project goals
Manage non-compliance issues by liaising with the Contracts Department and ensure all project personnel, including vendors and subcontractors, have proper clearance
Apply knowledge of the Workplace Health and Safety Act to advise on health and safety matters and conduct regular site safety audits in collaboration with safety teams
Required competencies and certifications
Degree in Engineering, Building, Facilities, Estate Management, or relevant discipline, or equivalent relevant experience with diploma education
Minimum 3 years’ experience managing government properties or statutory boards, preferably with integrated facilities management (IFM) experience in soft and hard services
Proven track record in IFM contract management
Proficiency in MS Office and email communication to support reporting and coordination
Strong analytical and organizational skills to work independently and meet challenging goals under tight deadlines
Effective verbal and written communication skills to lead teams and liaise with stakeholders
Ability to work under pressure in complex environments to maintain operational excellence
Demonstrated leadership skills to guide and motivate teams toward achieving service objectives
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Fire Safety Manager certification
Project Manager certification
Greenmark Manager certification
