Luen Thai International Group Ltd Hiring! Full Time Sweater Designer in Hong Kong - Ricebowl

Responsibilities:

• Conduct seasonal trend report;

• Develop marketable collections, culminate in detailed specifications for fittings and production, and also showroom maintenance;

• Understand customer needs and develop tailormade collection, and make presentation with trend, illustration and CADs;

• Work closely with merchandising team to support customer needs;

• Ensure all designs are executed within established timelines and budgets;

• Assist in other ad hoc projects as assigned by the supervisor;

• Collaborate effectively with others, including designers, suppliers, and factory technicians.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in Knitwear Design, Fashion Design, or a related field;

• At least 2 years’ solid experience in knitwear design with experience in US/EU market will be an advantage;

• Strong product and yarn knowledge, with a solid understanding of the sweater development process;

• Proven creative abilities and a strong design sense;

• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and MS Office applications;

• Knowledge in virtual 3D simulation e.g. CLO, APEX 3/4 is a plus;

• Good time management, willing to learn, self-motivated, has strong sense of responsibilities, able to work independently and under pressure to meet tight schedules;

• Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin;

• Occasional travel to Dongguan will be required.
