We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Executive, Accounts to join the Niche Finance Department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the overall financial management of the Company while providing guidance to junior team members.
Job Scope
- Manage daily financial and accounting operations, including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), general ledger (GL), double entry and treasury-related functions
- Prepare and review accounting entries, reconciliations and financial schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Monitor and maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
- Perform monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities within established timelines
- Review supplier invoices, employee claims and payment transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare bank reconciliations, update cash flow records and monitor cash positions
- Assist in the preparation of management reports, financial statements and audit schedules
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers and regulatory authorities on financial matters
- Supervise and provide guidance to junior staff members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to accounting procedures
- Support process improvements, financial projects and other ad-hoc assignments as required
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant working experience in accounting and finance
- Prior audit experience will be an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and reconciliation processes
- Experience in handling accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR) and general accounting functions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
- Ability to multitask, work independently and supervise junior staff members
- Strong proficiency in both spoken and written English
- Able to meet deadlines and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
Location
Persiaran Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur (a shuttle service is provided between the Masjid Jamek LRT Station and the office)
Pay: RM3,400.00 - RM6,100.00 per month
