Responsibilities

Key Role


The incumbent will be working closely with the Senior Management team. The Manager will lead and manages the overall spectrum of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the Company and its subsidiaries. Originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards; goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce. Responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organization's business goals. Implement and monitor people-related services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff; and assists and advises company managers about Human Resources issues.


Duties and responsibilities


  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or disciplinary issues
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, policies and procedures across the organization
  • Nurture a positive working environment
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Develop and maintain the Company’s Compensation and Benefits program
  • Assess training needs, plan and monitor training programs
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
  • Oversee and maintain a good occupational safety and health policy
  • Other duties as and when deemed necessary


Requirement


  • Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
  • At least min 12 years related HR working experience with managerial level
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • In-depth knowledge of Malaysian labour law and HR best practices
  • Must possess good leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess excellence critical thinking and problem-solving skills
