Job Description

Responsibilities

KFitness is looking for an independent HR Assistant Manager who can run the full HR function - payroll, hiring, and training - for HQ management staff and for operation level staff across our outlets (Area Managers, Outlet Managers, gym operational staff, and Personal Trainers).

We have 30+ headcount across HQ and outlets. This role reports to the COO and works closely with outlet stakeholders. You'll be handling the full scope of HR work without a team, so we're looking for someone independent and organised.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll for HQ, outlet, and PT staff, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, claims, overtime, and commission
  • End to end hiring for HQ management, Area Managers, Outlet Managers, gym operational staff, and PT - job ads, screening, interviews, offer letters, onboarding
  • Plan and run onboarding and service standard training for new joiners at all levels, including PT
  • Be the main point of contact for HR matters, manage employee relations, HR policies, and disciplinary matters
  • Liaise with the COO, outlet management, and government bodies (EPF, SOCSO, LHDN)
  • Maintain employee files and contracts, and keep training records up to date

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant HR experience, with hands on payroll and recruitment work
  • Experience in service line industry, or a company with multiple outlets, is an advantage
  • Familiar with Malaysian labour law and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB)
  • Able to work independently and manage HR matters across HQ and outlet levels without close supervision
  • Comfortable dealing with stakeholders at different levels, from management to outlet staff and PT
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, spoken and written
  • Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office (Excel especially)
  • Good communication, organising, and follow up skills
